Richmond Virtual School Quarter 1 Report Cards
As we approach our first report card of the year, which will be posted on Wednesday, November 25th, we encourage parents to take the time to make sure that you can easily access your MyEd Parent Portal account. If you have not set up your Parent Portal account on the MyEducation BC website (link is external) then you must do so in order to view your child’s Quarter 1 Report Card. In addition, if you already have an account but it is telling you that your password has expired, please follow the prompts to set up a new password and this should alleviate the issue. Please note that the password must contain at least one capital letter, one lower case, one number and one symbol, and must be at least 8 characters in length. If you are having trouble accessing the Parent Portal you need to contact your home school as Richmond Virtual School does not have access to your Parent Portal account.

No Parent Portal Account or New to the Richmond School District?
For those parents who have not yet set up your Parent Portal account or are new to the Richmond School District, you should have received an email from MyEducation BC. This email message will contain a link to your Parent Portal account. Please follow this link to set up your account in preparation for the online distribution of Quarter 1 Report Cards. If you have not received this email, first please check your “junk” folder for this message, otherwise send an email to your home school (not RVS). In the subject line put Parent Portal and in the message include the following: Student’s Full Name, Pupil #, Parent/Guardian Name, email address and let them know you did not receive the initial MyEducation BC email.
Accounts have been created using email addresses previously provided to the school. If you did not provide your email address, if you need to update it, or if you are experiencing any other problems, please send an email to your home school. In the subject line please put Parent Portal, and in the message include the following: Student’s Full Name, Pupil #, Parent/Guardian Name, email address and the problem you are having. Please note that you can retrieve your password information by using the “forgot password” option on the MyEd login page.
