Recent Grads

If you are about to finish grade 12 or have recently finished grade 12 and need a course or want to upgrade you may be eligible to take an online course with RVS.  

Your options will depend on your graduation status:

1. For students (who are not 19 as of June 30) who have NOT GRADUATED FROM HIGH SCHOOL, Adult Secondary School Completion Courses remain tuition free.  This applies to students who are BC residents, are Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents or have a Work Permit valid for at least one year.
2. For students (who are not 19 as of June 30) who have GRADUATED FROM HIGH SCHOOL, EDUCATION GUARANTEE Changes - updated September 1, 2017. The following courses are tuition free for recent grads who have graduated and would like to upgrade their Secondary School marks: English 11 and 12,  Life Science 11 (Biology11) and Anatomy & Physiology 12 (Biology12), Chemistry 11 and 12, Physics 11 and 12, Foundations of Math 11 and 12, Pre-Calculus 11 and 12, Calculus 12.
3. For courses not listed above, (for example Accounting, Robotics, Cybersecurity, etc.) the cost for recent grads is $550.00 per course.  For recently graduated International students cost per courses is $1500.00.
