Adult Students

If you are 19 and older as of July 1 of this school year please contact: SD.38 (Richmond) Continuing Education.  Continuing Education offers online and in-person class options. Information on their programs can be found here: https://ce.sd38.bc.ca

If you are not 19 as of June 30 of this school year you can attend a RVS course within our blended learning model.  Your options depend on your graduation status:

  1. For students (who are not 19 as of June 30) who have NOT GRADUATED FROM HIGH SCHOOL, Adult Secondary School Completion Courses remain tuition free, but some require a refundable resource deposit.  This applies to students who are BC residents, are Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents or have a Work Permit valid for at least one year.
  2. For students (who are not 19 as of June 30) who have GRADUATED FROM HIGH SCHOOL, EDUCATION GUARANTEE Changes - updated September 1, 2017. High school courses in the K-12 sector will remain tuition-free for anyone working toward an Adult Dogwood Diploma or for adults looking to take basic, introductory courses.  In addition, the following courses are tuition free for adults who have graduated and would like to upgrade their Secondary School marks: English 11 and 12,  Life Science 11 (Biology11) and Anatomy & Physiology 12 (Biology12), Chemistry 11 and 12, Physics 11 and 12, Foundations of Math 11 and 12, Pre-Calculus 11 and 12, Calculus 12
  3. All our courses remain free for school age BC residents.
  4. The cost for graduated adults, who are ordinarily residents of B.C., is $550.00 per course for all high school courses that are not listed above.  For graduated International students cost per courses is $1500.00.
